Jeffrey Arlyn is an artist making paintings that engage themes of identity, place, and relationship.

Arlyn first studied painting at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, and earned her BFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Her artistic practice serves as a meditation on personal experiences, and through her paintings she brings clarity to the feelings that lie beneath appearances. Her work has been described as subtle, nostalgic, and ethereal.

Arlyn works in watercolor and oil paint.  She has taught watercolor painting and figure drawing classes classes at the Durham Arts Council and the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts.
