Durham Central Park is a 5-acre city owned park located in the heart of Downtown Durham. The park is managed, developed and programmed by Durham Central Park, Inc. a 501c3 non-profit organization.

In addition to being a precious greenspace in the heart of a growing downtown area, Durham Central Park provides a landing space for a countless number of activities all year round by renting out the large open air pavilion to groups large and small for events that include the Durham Farmers’ Market, Durham Craft Market, Pride in the Park, Black August in the Park, concerts, classes, celebrations and more.

During the year, DCP, Inc. presents the PLAYlist Concert Series in partnership with WNCU 90.7FM on the first Friday of the month from May-October. Our curated lineup covers an eclectic blend of genres and features local, regional and national artists. The concerts are free and open to the public and simulcast on WNCU, 90.7FM.

In addition to PLAYlist, Durham Central Park also presents four Food Truck Rodeos per year, Storytime with Ms. Kristen, and the 4th of July Children’s Parade. More information about Durham Central Park can be found on our website, instagram and facebook.
