Born and raised in diverse South Africa, residing in Chapel Hill, NC art has always been an intrinsic part of her life, personality, and identity. Her work evolves during the process of experimentation with the style and subject matter varying. Although currently focusing on mark-making in charcoal and its expressiveness, she does work in several mediums, including painting, drawing, and photography. Her graphic design background has allowed her artistic interests to encompass a variety of new media.

Her work leans towards heavier and darker mark-making drawing inspiration from everyday life and the human condition translating into various imagery ranging from figurative to abstract.
