Outer Loop Arts is an artist studio and retail space in downtown Durham. Focused on creating a safe and inclusive environment, Outer Loop Arts aims to promote collaboration and community engagement with our makers, artists, and larger Durham community. Our goal is to make being an artist and maker a little easier in these fraught times, included with a studio rental is access to shared co-working, workshop, shipping station, as well as, the opportunity to sell your products commission free in our retail space.

We hope that Outer Loop Arts can become a community hub, a place for meeting new folks and growing a diverse community of artists and thinkers alike. We host open studio nights along with workshops and mini-markets run by our artists. In addition to our five rentable studio spaces, we are also offer our communal workshop space for rent to the larger Durham community to meet the needs of as many artists as possible.

We hope to foster a thriving community of artists and makers that moves beyond a studio relationship and into a realm of collaborative community building where everyone can benefit equally.
