I am a former public school teacher from Orange County. I am an intuitive painter. I am currently working with alcohol inks and acrylics.
Alcohol inks sit on top of the paper (I use yupo paper) and I blow the ink and use paintbrushes to move the ink until it dries. Yupo paper is my favorite because the colors really seem to pop on this paper.
I am so inspired by the nature around me and the beauty of North Carolina. My favorite things to paint are the ocean, flowers, and trees. I also love to paint horizontal and vertical lines in deep colors.
