“Beautiful and provocative life affirming landscapes of the spirit”

I am a 40+ year visual artist, concept designer, educator, and advisor with professional affiliations with the National Organization for Arts and Healthcare and the NC Art Education Association.   I primarily use acrylic on canvas, and often include vintage textiles and sheet music.  Watercolors and inks are also part of my portfolio.  I work in deep symbolism with a purposeful simplicity yet complexity.  The whimsical, lyrical, and easy to relate to subject matter make it equally at home in boardrooms, classrooms, children’s rooms, and in personal workspaces.

I create original paintings, archival giclee prints, and high quality notecards with my painting images on them.

My studio and gallery are located at the Truist Bank office building, 1530 N. Gregson in Durham, NC where I am the artist-in-residence.

My work is available for home and corporate collections, images for book covers, customized notecards for special occasions, and other uses.  I do a few commissions each year.  Please contact me for more information.  My gallery is open by appointment using bank hours.
