Hi, I’m Carolyn! I’m a paper mache artist in Durham, NC. I started making paper mache wall sculpture art after a visit in Puerto Rico. I completely fell in love with a Carnaval de Vejigantes festival mask that was hanging in our Air BnB. When I found out that these masks were made of paper mache, I was hooked. I have a lot of fond memories of making paper mache sculptures in elementary school art class, and I was so excited to delve into the medium again, all these years later. Big, bold wall art is a passion of mine, and to make art that brightens up peoples’ walls and makes them smile is something I’m truly excited about. I’m inspired by nature, animals, food, and pop culture, and I have a lot of fun bringing my designs and creations to life. When I’m not making wall sculptures, I’m a full-time family photographer.
