We are a feminist chorus that has been singing for justice since 1983. We perform two concerts per year and are participating members of GALA Choruses and Sister Singers Network.
The Common Woman Chorus unites a choral community of richly diverse voices to nurture high quality musicianship and to be a beacon for justice, equality, and love through the healing power of music.
Membership is open to all woman-identified, gender-nonconforming, and transgender individuals, with a goal of diversity in ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, interests, and beliefs.
We welcome new singers in August and January/February.
We are a non-auditioned chorus, but we do have a no pressure voice placement session.

Hello! I am a 54 year-old Caucasian woman and I am interested in your chorus. I would like more information about possibly joining in January/February of next year. Is the chorus virtual at this time or in-person? What are the COVID safety precautions in place if the chorus meets in-person? I love to sing and hope to hear back from you!
Thank you.
